Swift

Swift is a motor built by Yarwoods in 1933 for the chemical firm Cowburn & Cowper of Manchester for their company fleet. The fleet consisted of eight motors all named after birds starting with the letter 'S', they are Swan, Stork, Swift, Skylark, Snipe, Starling, Seagull and Swallow.

The National Historic Ships have certified Swift, Length overall: 21.35m, Built 1933 at WJ Yarwood & Sons Ltd, Northwich, and has been identified as meriting inclusion in the National Register of Historic Vessels of the United Kingdom. Date: 21 December 2006 Certificate Number: 2022.
